Terms and Conditions

Agreeing to these terms
These terms cover your use of this website and any insulation work you hire D&R Santa Rosa Spray Foam Insulation to do. We're an insulation contractor in Santa Rosa, CA, and when we say "we", "us" or "our crew", we mean D&R Santa Rosa Spray Foam Insulation. When we say "you", we mean the person using this site or the homeowner or property owner who hires us.
By using this site, asking for an estimate or scheduling work with us, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or book work with us. If a written estimate or agreement for your job says something different from these terms, the written estimate or agreement controls for that job.
What we do
We install, top up and remove insulation in homes and commercial buildings. That includes spray foam, blown-in insulation, which is loose fill blown through a hose, air sealing, which means closing gaps before insulating, and crawl space vapor barriers. The home page lists our services and the cities we work in, and you can read more about who we are on our About page.
Descriptions on this site are general. The exact work for your house is whatever we agree to in your written estimate, because every attic, wall and crawl space is different.
Estimates and pricing
Our on-site estimates are free and come with no obligation. An estimate is based on what we can see and reach during the visit, so it covers the areas, materials and amounts written on it and nothing more.
Some conditions only show up once the job is open, such as wet or damaged insulation, droppings, mold, rotted framing or wiring that isn't safe to cover. If we find something like that, we'll stop, show you and explain your options before doing extra work. We won't charge for added work you haven't approved.
Unless the estimate says otherwise, it's good for 30 days, because material costs and our schedule can change after that.
Scheduling, access and cancellation
We'll set a start date with you and do our best to keep it. Weather, material delays, illness or conditions found on site can push a date back, and when that happens we'll tell you as soon as we know and set a new one.
You agree to give our crew safe access to the work areas, including the attic hatch, crawl space entry and driveway, and to clear stored items from those spaces or let us know ahead of time if you need help with that. Please keep children and pets away from the work area while we're there.
Some products, spray foam in particular, have a re-entry time, which is how long you need to stay out before coming back in. We'll tell you before the job how long that is for the product we're using, based on the maker's instructions, and you agree to follow it.
If you need to cancel or move your appointment, please call us at (707) 508-4085 as early as you can, ideally at least 48 hours ahead. If we've already ordered special materials for your job or arrived on site, we may charge for those costs, and we'll explain any charge before billing it.
Payment
Your written estimate or agreement will state the price, any deposit and when payments are due. Unless it says otherwise, the balance is due when the work is finished and we've walked through it with you.
If a payment is late, we may pause any remaining work until it's settled. You're responsible for reasonable costs we incur to collect an unpaid balance, as far as California law allows.
Our workmanship and warranties
We're licensed and insured, and our work is backed by our satisfaction guarantee. If something about our installation isn't right, call us and we'll come back and look at it.
Insulation products carry their own warranties from their makers, and those warranties belong to the makers, not to us. We'll pass along any product warranty information we receive.
Apart from what's written in your estimate or agreement and our satisfaction guarantee, we make no other promises about the results of the work, including specific savings on your power bill or a specific indoor temperature, because those depend on your house, your heating and cooling system and how you use them. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
Our guarantee doesn't cover damage caused by roof leaks, plumbing leaks, pests, later work by others, changes you make to the area, or conditions that existed before we arrived and weren't part of our job.
Limits on our liability
To the extent California law allows, our total liability for any claim connected to a job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job. We aren't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, such as lost use of the property or lost profits.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited under California law, including liability for our own gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Using this website
The information on this site is general and meant to help you understand insulation work, not to replace an on-site look at your house. We try to keep it accurate, but we don't promise it's complete or current, and we may change it at any time.
The text, photos and design on this site belong to D&R Santa Rosa Spray Foam Insulation or are used with permission. Please don't copy them for commercial use without asking us first. If the site links to other websites, we don't control them and aren't responsible for what's on them.
Settling disagreements
If you're unhappy with anything, please call us or reach out through our Contact page first. Most problems get sorted out quickly once we're talking, and we'd rather fix it than argue about it.
If we can't settle it that way, these terms and any work we do for you are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any legal action will be brought in the state courts located in Sonoma County, California, unless the law requires a different place.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, and the version posted on this page is the one in effect. Changes won't affect a job already covered by a signed estimate or agreement unless you agree to them.
How to reach us
If you have questions about these terms, call us at (707) 508-4085, Monday through Sunday, 8 AM to 9 PM, or send us a message from our Contact page. We respond within 1 business day.
